Our Story
Before it was a bottle, it was home.
The Fruit Behind the Name
We were named for a fruit.
Soursop — Annona muricata — has grown across the Caribbean and the tropical Americas for longer than anyone can remember. Spiny green skin, soft white flesh, a taste that's equal parts sweet and sharp.
Back home, it wasn't exotic. It was simply part of life — in the yard, on the table, in the small rituals that opened the day.
When we built this brand, we didn't have to look far for a name. We took it from the fruit itself: Annona.

Back Home
A spoonful was just how we took care of ourselves.
Our founder grew up with soursop bitters as an ordinary part of the day — not a trend, not a cure, just a quiet habit passed from one generation to the next.
A few drops in the morning. A pause before the day began. The kind of ritual you don't notice until you no longer have it.
It was never about the bottle. It was about the moment it gave you.
Then Life Moved On
And the ritual faded.
Years later, far from home, the ritual slipped away. Mornings got faster. The bottle that used to sit on the counter wasn't there anymore.
And when we went looking for it, the shelves were full of harsh, bitter blends that missed the point entirely — or worse, promised the world. None of them felt like the thing we remembered.
So We Rebuilt It
We remade it for the way we live now.
We set out to recreate the ritual we grew up with, made for a modern morning. Smooth enough to actually enjoy. Senna-free, third-party tested, and honest about what's inside.
Same roots. Same quiet moment. Just made for today.

Why It Matters
Some things are worth carrying forward.
We made Annona so this tradition wouldn't disappear — so it could travel, and so it could become part of your morning, too. A small daily ritual, rooted in somewhere real.
